When I went to Mass today, I thought about Jesus in the Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. Right there on the altar, He is. Right there in front of us. Quietly offering Himself for those who desire that intimacy with Him. He even commanded us to take His Body and Blood and eat of it in John 6. He came the same way as a baby at Christmas. People thought He would come as a glorious soldier to take down Caesar but that wasn’t what He came for. He came quietly, trusting and loving to conquer our darkness of sin and give us a way to Heaven.
Each time we go to Mass, a miracle takes place. I’m not kidding you or exaggerating. It actually is a miracle! Found only in the Catholic Church. The Holy Spirit comes down from Heaven and turns the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus, and this happens at every Mass, every Catholic Church, every time Mass is offered, every day. Jesus said He would be with us until the end of time and He is, in the Sacrifice of the Mass. Jesus’ Sacred Heart is in each little Host (consecrated communion wafer). If we look at the Miracle of Lanciano (check out my links for more information), then we can assume that if one Host has heart tissue and other qualities of a human heart from Jesus, then they ALL do. They might not be visible but it’s there. He gave us a little peek, in the Miracle of Lanciano, as to what He is offering us but don’t think that it only took place with one Host. The miracle of consecration takes place with every Host but He gave us a glimpse into Heaven by showing us the Miracle Host of His Sacred Heart, all because of a priest with doubts.
I was eager to receive Jesus and hold Him close within me. Once I received Him, I felt so full of gratitude and love for Him. A love so deep that it brings me to tears as I kneel down in prayer. I wanted to spend time with Him in prayer and thanksgiving. There is nothing in this world worth more than the Eucharist! Not gold, diamonds or all the money in the world. Once you receive the Eucharist and truly understand this miracle, you only want Jesus. You fall in love with Him and would give everything to be with Him in the Eucharist. ” Jesus, my Beloved, come into my heart and make it Thine own forever. Let us never be separated, one from another.”
If you are missing out on this miracle, please consider joining the Catholic Church. It will be an experience like no other in the world.
Jesus came to give us Himself as manna from Heaven in the Eucharist, to feed our souls grace to get to Heaven to be with Him and love Him. THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT.
Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament (Eucharist), is the best miracle of all.
